The 2nd International Conference on Carbon Neutrality (ICCN-2025) will take place in Shanghai, China, September 5-7, 2025. Sponsored by the Asian Union of Thermal Science and Engineering (AUTSE), ICCN-2025 will be hosted by Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics, organized by the journal Carbon Neutrality, and co-organized by the University of Edinburgh along with several other world-class universities. This biennial event builds on the success of the inaugural conference in 2023, which attracted over 200 attendees from around the world.
Achieving carbon neutrality requires a profound and systematic transformation across technology, economy and society, reshaping traditional modes of production, living and consumption. As a multi-disciplinary and comprehensive research area, carbon neutrality intersects with critical fields such as energy, environment, finance, and management.
The primary goal of ICCN-2025 is to unite leading scientists, engineers, industry experts, and practitioners to exchange insights, share breakthroughs, and foster collaborations that will accelerate the global progress toward carbon neutrality.
We warmly invite innovative researchers, forward-thinking engineers, practitioners, and students from all over the world to participate in ICCN-2025. Join us in shaping the future of carbon neutrality.
